things you want need to prepare the drinks:1) shakers (boston or european) - the basic difference is that the european shaker has an integral strainer. but not the boston understanding.2) strainers - especially if you determined to get the boston shaker…3) measures4) utensils: (not limited to the mentioned utensils, be creative. throw in a chainsaw if you feel a need for it.) - ice thongs - ice pail - knife - bitter board - long handled bar spoon5) glasses: personally i am pretty particular what glasses i manipulate quest of my drinks. by reason of archetype champagne goes into a champagne flutes and yada yada. call me nit picky but hey its totally up to you if you wanna serve your cocktails in your binky the clown cup be my guest. so here is a basic list of glasses and what they mainly go with.i) champagne flutes and deviating champagne saucers - champagne and champagne cocktailsii) jigger glasses - shots (duh)iii) rock glasses - for the benefit of short drinks, its probably consists of 1 or 2 spirits with a small amount of mixers.iv) high ball glasses - long drinks, usually a combination of spirits and mixers such as fruit fluid or soda unsound.v) classic cocktail glasses - for the standard cocktails.vi) martini glass - its a iniquity to serve a martini in anything else.vii) beer stein or pint window - for the simple despite everything basic beer.
